"Swing the Mood" is a song by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers from their debut album ''The Album''. Produced by the father and son DJ team of Andy and John Pickles, "Swing the Mood" was a cut and paste record which fused a number of early rock and roll records with liberal use of Glenn Miller's "In the Mood." Copyright problems caused a re-recorded version to be released; despite this version being derided by critics it nevertheless became a massive hit in the United Kingdom spending 5 weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart in July and August 1989, partly aided by the Jive Bunny animated character. The record became a worldwide phenomenon, reaching #11 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in the United States. It was the 2nd best-selling single of 1989 in the UK, outsold only by "Ride On Time" by Black Box. ==Samples== This single samples from the following songs: *0:00 - 0:05 Chubby Checker - "Let's Twist Again" *0:06 - 0:55 Glenn Miller - "In the Mood" *0:55 - 1:24 Bill Haley & His Comets - "Rock Around the Clock" *1:24 - 1:39 Bill Haley & His Comets - "Rock-A-Beatin' Boogie" *1:39 - 1:50 Little Richard - "Tutti Frutti" *1:50 - 2:18 The Everly Brothers - "Wake Up Little Susie" *2:18 - 2:27 Eddie Cochran - "C'mon Everybody" *2:27 - 2:43 Elvis Presley - "Hound Dog" *2:43 - 2:54 Bill Haley & His Comets - "Shake, Rattle and Roll" *2:54 - 3:04 Elvis Presley - "All Shook Up" *3:04 - 3:24 Elvis Presley - "Jailhouse Rock" *3:24 - 3:42 Danny and the Juniors - "At the Hop" *3:42 - 3:47 Little Richard - Tutti Frutti *3:47 - 6:05 Glenn Miller - In the Mood, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Little Brown Jug, American Patrol, In the Mood 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Swing the Mood」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
